Our lightest immersion suit, the Hansen Protection Seapass TPA 82940 is a compact and highly reliable survival suit designed for emergencies on passenger ships and pleasure craft. This uninsulated IMO SOLAS-certified suit provides 1 hour of thermal protection in water temperatures below 5°C when used with an approved lifejacket. Lightweight and vacuum-packable, it is ideal for vessels with limited storage and for enhancing onboard safety preparedness.
Engineered with PU-coated nylon and featuring an integrated neoprene hood, the Seapass suit offers convenience, flexibility, and durability. The wearer can use personal shoes either inside or outside the suit, and the inclusion of reflective tape ensures visibility in low-light conditions. When vacuum packed by Hansen Protection, the service interval can be extended up to 10 years, reducing maintenance needs while maximizing safety readiness.
Designed to eliminate cold shock and compliant with the Polar Code, this immersion suit is tested in accordance with the Norwegian Maritime Directorate (NMD) regulations, making it a dependable solution for maritime evacuation and survival scenarios.
