Pennine Hand Applied Metal Cutting Oils Antifoam SB

Antifoam SB is recommended for use as a foam control agent in conventional soluble oil emulsions, semi-synthetic emulsions and in fully synthetic machining and grinding fluid solutions and emulsions. It should be used at concentrations of 5 to 50 ppm to improve the foaming characteristics of metalworking emulsions. Over application of Antifoam SB may make foaming (or air entrainment) worse. In situations where foam is a problem we recommend that Technical Services is consulted for advice.
