The Ronseal Hardwood Garden Furniture Restorer helps to get your worn grey wood back to its natural colour. It is the best prep you can do before putting on a stain or oil, you will get a much better finish.

Its low odour gel formula is safe to use around your plants and pets, so you do not have to worry about splashes. Before you start, get your furniture ready. Use a stiff brush to get rid of any dirt. Firstly, give the tin a good stir, do a test patch to make sure you are going to be happy with the result before applying overall. Generously coat the restorer onto the furniture and then scrub it in with a stiff bristle brush.

Leave it to work for 15 minutes, don’t let it dry out, as it won’t work properly, if it does, you will need to put another coat on. You will then need to give it another scrub. Finally, give it a good hose down, you should be able to get the job done with one coat. However, very grey wood may need doing again. To keep your furniture looking its best, leave it to dry for a day or two. Then protect it with one of our stains or oils.
